OSPF stand for Open Shortest Path First. This is routing protocol and better then Rip v1 or Rip v2 protocol.
)link state protocol
)Used Dijkstra alogorthim
)OSPF have no limmitation of hop
)Support vlsm
)Allow better load balancing
)Better covergence
)Ospf also allows for logical defination of networks where routers can be devided into areas
