It is epistemology that tells you not to eat the rotten apple.
It is metaphysics that gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling when something nice happens. It also fills you with terror when the unknown lurks too closely.
Everytime you do something morally right, you use ethics.
Everytime you compliment or criticize a piece of art, you use aesthetics.
Our powers of epistemology begin at birth, when the infant’s mind screams “WHERE THE HELL AM I?”
Metaphysics are built on the answer to that question, and to others, such as is my environment good or bad; are people good or bad to me; am I happy or do I cry all the time because no one feeds me.”
